Teach The Younger Women

Tit 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things

Tit 2:4 That they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

Tit 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

This is a high calling for the aged women in God’s church.  How can we encourage the younger women?  If we have done all in our lives raising our children, giving our lives to the Lord, we can teach by our successes and also teach by our failures.

I hope in creating this blog that you older, wiser women can help me to encourage those who have put their hearts and lives in the hands of the living God, who has given us such a blessing as becoming wives and mothers, the greatest gift that women can accomplish in this life, by far the highest calling, being compared to the bride of Christ, the church, the mother of us all.

Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

As an introduction to my blog post, I would like you all to listen to this sermon, which sums up very well what I will discuss with you in the next few blogs posts.  If you can, please listen to it with your spouse, who is the one who shares in this great calling.

God be with you in your quest for the career of marriage and motherhood, being a crown to your husband “A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband” Proverbs 12:3  and raising up a new generation of pillars in our church, our communities and our nation.
