Whatsoever Is Lovely ~ Think On These Things

The Butterfly

When we are called, we’ll  come to be

A butterfly that all can see

But yet at first protected be

……….Yes, in God’s loving hands

And transformation He does build

Through trials, faith in us instills

A new creation He does wield

……….Yes, in God’s loving hands

Yet before we spread our wings

A struggle ‘gainst the cocoon brings

A butterfly that soon will sing

……….Yes, in  God’s loving hands

Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Ga 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

See below for how we will be tranformed into the sons and daughters of our Father God.

  1. What a lovely post Diane. Our thinking can run so amuk (something that is out of control and causing trouble) in the world we live in, if we are not keeping in mind our life’s desire–the Kingdom of God and being a woman after God’s own heart.
In our daily lives as a wife and mother and child of God, I found this lady’s comments inspiring, too, for keeping our lives in perspective. It is found at:
