Psalms of a Woman

Parting of the Red Sea

PASSOVER PRAYER

You brought us out of Egypt

Yet sin is in us still

Cleanse us now from secret faults

And help us search Your will

For You delivered us from sin

A price was sorely paid

Your only Son You sacrificed

Our stripes were on Him laid

Help us now to not look back

On Egypt to desire

The worldly ways that call to us

Each day that does transpire

Help us be like Miriam

Who sang a joyful song

When the sea was driven back

You led the mighty throng

So, help us now to not look back

To run the race You’ve given

Forward as we travel on

For grace has now been given
